Saudi Arabia’s religious police arrested a local psychiatrist who tried to molest his adult male patient by giving him sedatives, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The patient, in his 30s, reported the doctor to the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, saying he was given medicine he did not need that the doctor tried to seduce him by texting him many times.
“Commission members asked the man to positively respond to the doctor and to ask him to meet on the seaside,” Alsaudi Arabic language daily said in a report from the western port of Yanbu.
“When the doctor came, they arrested him and faced him with the obscene texts he had sent to his patient.”
